AlphaNovel is a new startup in the SocialTech ecosystem. Our goal is to build a global multilingual platform for readers and writers of next-generation novels.

The AlphaNovel platform is designed to be both user and author-friendly. We want to present readers with the newest and brightest variety of works while offering authors innovative ways to increase the number of readers and monetize their work.

The ambitious goal is to build a new Netflix in the world of books.

The team consists of 6 people and is growing every day, and therefore we do not have any bureaucracy, official hierarchy, and even legacy. Each team member has the opportunity to propose an idea that can turn into a new function or product.

We’re looking for an ambitious Head of Operations who will contribute professional experience to the development and implementation of strategic partnership with authors on the platform.

What you need to do:
— Build a Supply Department from scratch;
— Be responsible for building long-term relationships with writers (develop approaches aiming at strengthening relationships with authors);
— Hire and manage people to the team (Account Managers, Sales Managers, Content Creators, etc.);
— Build strong and efficient business interaction with the marketing team, set product development priorities to enhance customer engagement;
— Conduct market analysis and competitor research;
— Design effective analytics to keep the readers’ demand in balance with the available content.

What you need to join us:
— 3+ years of working experience, preferably in Big4 companies or investment firms;
— Ability to understand complex business problems and find ways to optimize processes;
— Critical thinking and a systematic approach to work with an emphasis on high-quality standards of the result;
— Strong communication and writing skills, ability to persuade, over-persuade, and deal with objections;
— Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership qualities demonstrated by previous professional success;
— Good practical knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software (e.g., SAP, ERP, CRM);
— Knowledge of Data Studio / Tableau / and other business intelligence software will be a plus.
