Our star candidate:
We are looking for a dynamic marketer who will bring not only discipline but also an innovative perspective to the role of Product Marketing Manager and who will be focused on the Activation & Retention flows of Howly products and other marketing features in backlog.
A deep understanding of Email Marketing (messengers, push notifications, SMS, and other channels of direct marketing) is essential, as the core purpose of this role is to work with the senior-lvl cross-functional team and plan main activities on the product with CMO and other marketing stakeholders.
What you'll do:
40% Strategy & Planning:
— Build Activation and Retention user flows via direct marketing and product communications (emails, push notifications, messengers, SMS, calls, etc.);
— Translate business goals and end-user needs into product features; communicate direction and product priorities to the Development team, other matrixed teams, and third-party partners;
— Identify goals, metrics, and analytics to determine product value, continually making recommendations and refinements to the product backlog based on learnings;
— Monitor research as well as the competitive landscape to recommend the best solutions and ensure that products remain or become best in class.
30% Delivery & Execution:
— Formulate tests and refine assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing;
— Create, prioritize, and accept user stories; incorporate them into release planning;
— Identify pros, cons, issues, obstacles, dependencies, and value associated with features and enhancements;
— Participate in standups, iteration planning sessions, product demos, and retrospectives.
— Foster collaboration with team members (Engineering, User Experience Designers, etc.) to drive value and collectively identify and resolve impediments;
— Advocate for the end user and stakeholder by empathizing with and understanding user needs and becoming the domain expert;
— Regularly work with the product team to continuously assess progress, disseminate lessons learned, and understand the next steps.

— You’re experienced. You have 1+ years of experience working as a Product Manager and a proven track record in Email Marketing (1+ years) and other activation/retention channels;
Experience conducting competitive research and analysis;
Experience identifying goals, metrics, and analytics to measure product value;
Strong experience in A/B testing.
— You’re a great communicator. You have excellent communication skills and an uncanny ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, design, marketing, comms, support, and operations teams;
